REALTOR® Magazine is the official magazine of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Our mission is to be "the business tool for real estate professionals," providing insights into industry best practices, new tools and technologies, and new legislative a regulatory developments that will affect our readers' businesses. Among the topics we regularly cover are brokerage management, the economy, home trends, government news, law, selling and marketing, and technology.
REALTOR® Magazine's Web site, in addition to housing our print archives, includes a variety of online-only features, such as columns, interactive quizzes, slide shows, and videos.
We also use video to help provide perspective on hot legislative and regulatory issues. Many of our videos are produced in cooperation with the National Association of REALTORS® Government Affairs and Research Departments.
In 2000, we founded REALTOR® Magazine's Good Neighbor Awards to recognize REALTORS®' outstanding community service contributions. Since then, the program has named nearly 100 REALTORS.
In 2006, we formed REALTOR® Magazine's Young Professionals Network to begin building a stronger affinity with our younger readers (many of whom had applied for or been featured in our annual "30 Under 30" feature. Today, more than 8,000 REALTORS are identified as YPN members through more than 300 local and state YPNs around the country.
Although we don't have the social networking chops of ActiveRain, we also maintain four active blogs that together receive about 40,000 visits a month: Speaking of Real Estate, Styled, Staged & Sold, The Weekly Book Scan, and YPN Lounge. (All told, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® maintains 10 blogs at its Web site, REALTOR.org.)
We're also sharing industry news and business tips every day on Facebook and Twitter. Also, follow all the news from NAR at its main Facebook and Twitter pages.
