I do everything residential from first-time homebuyers to luxury homes.  I've started looking at multi-family as well.  I enjoy the people, finding out what they want and then helping them achieve it.  For me this business is all about the people.  So I enjoy working with both buyers and sellers.  I also diligently work through short sales which is why my current main website is focused on short sales.  I earned the SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource) certification.  I found that most homeowners really did not know much about short sales and the other options you have when you're behind on your mortgage, so I built a very extensive website and made several videos explaining the options, government programs like HAFA, etc.

As prices are now rising we're entering more of a 'normal' market so I'm shifting some of my marketing to traditional real estate needs.  Another thing I enjoy about this business is that it's always changing and it keeps me on my toes.  I also have a handful of investors I work with to buy property ranging from rentals to fix and flips, and I have all the trade contacts to get the work done well for a good price.  I particpate in at least one local investor group on a monthly basis.  My previous financial background is a natural fit for investing.
