I have been a CA licensed General Contractor since 1983 (lic# 448072). During this time, I have built several hundred homes from Paso Robles to Orcutt. This experience as a local licensed general contractor allows me to be a valuable resource to my clients in addressing property owner and inspection related questions and concerns at the time of the inspection and afterward. Being a builder, I have had the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. From planning and the permit process to the building of homes from the foundation to the finished turn-key product, I believe my background was a great education prior to getting my training as a home inspector.
I use a complete and comprehensive 36-page inspection report form that goes through each area of the home and has explanations of all the terms in language anyone can understand. I will give you your copy of the inspection report at the end of the inspection. No waiting days to get a copy of the report, not knowing if you are going to go forward with the purchase of the property.
