There are two main pathways connecting Realtors, buyers, and homes. Traditionally, Realtors bring buyers to homes. Just as often these days, homes on the Internet bring buyers to Realtors. [source: Properties Online]
Websites that advertise agents or brokerages support the first pathway. Single-property websites support the second. These latter websites have at least three key traits distinguishing them from traditional real estate sites:
* They first establish interest in the home and then introduce Realtor contact information.* Knowing the home's neighborhood, they present it through words and pictures.* They provide additional address-specific mechanisms.
These address-specific mechanisms may include such things as printable flyers, announcement of open houses, and a supporting website-address sign to be added to the home's yard sign. These sites may also give immediate access via mobile device support to people driving by.
There are perhaps a dozen companies providing single-property websites. Level of support ranges from a $10 web address and template to full service support. I provide the latter, and for sellers in Eastern Connecticut, I offer the additional advantage of being local.
I create web pages for selling homes - unique, thoughtful web designs that reflect the decor and style of the home as well as likely tastes of the home's future owner.
