You have many choices when you are looking to buy or sell real estate in the Triangle market. Our stable economy, excellent hospitals and universities, and wonderful climate means that we have an excellent relocation rate from other areas of the country. Those same features also mean that we enjoy one of the most stable, strong and steadily growing real estate markets in the country.

As a result, the real estate market has seen something of a boom in the past few years, with new agents coming into the market every day. For the consumer, this means more choice, which is usually a good thing. The danger, however, is that many agents approach real estate with a "Try it and see..." attitude, and often hold down other jobs while they transition into the business. The turnover among agents is unbelieveably high...there is a virtual revolving door at all of the bigger franchises, and smaller "Mom & Pop" operations have high turnover, as well. Therefore, it is essential that you select an agent who is not only well trained, but one who can devote their full attention to you and your transaction. Real estate, while certainly not rocket science, does invole a huge time investment in regard to following up with all of the details. For every hour I spend face-to-face with my clients, I probably invest an additional three hours on the phone, writing paperwork, tracking down information and doing online and print marketing.

So, in short, rather than give you a bulletpoint list of reasons why you should work with me, let me give you a far more important bit of advice: Choose an agent whom you feel comfortable with, one that answers and returns your phone calls, and one who has an interest in serving your needs above their own. I firmly believe that when I focus on what my clients are saying, and go out of my way to serve their needs, then my own are served as a result.
