Mike has always thrived on change, it's been a common theme for him.  There have been a variety of milestone points throughout the years that have added depth of experience and knowledge to his life.

From whitewater kayaking national team member to international touring musician to local small business owner to husband and father of two daughters there has been an interesting mix of careers to shape Taylor's outlook on life and business.

"People first - always!" Taylor says, "you don't build any business or relationship without the focus being on the people involved."  He has put that credo to work over the years, and has made customers into friends in every job he's done.  "I want my clients to succeed in their transaction.  And that's certainly financially, but also emotionally, as a home sale or purchase is a very personal commitment."

  Muskoka has been home for the past 15 years after a move from North Toronto.  He commuted from Oxtongue Lake to Montreal for the first couple years as his wife, Vanessa, was finishing her degree at McGill University.  "There was a lot of late night moose dodging", he says, as he saw her as often as possible while working as the buyer for Algonquin Outfitters.  Now living in Huntsville, there is family in town as well since Mike's sister and Vanessa's brother have joined them in town with their families.

Taylor is still playing music, for the love of it, with local band ‘Big Sweet Lou' who you can see at events around Muskoka and doing more canoeing with the family instead of tackling the whitewater.  Real Estate tends to be an all-hours pursuit, so he fits in the fun when he can.

As a Realtor in Huntsville, Taylor is now in the business of change; change of homes, change of locations and most of all, change of lifestyles.  It's always the great unknowns that need to be figured out in such a momentous and personal change, and Mike can help you through it all with a smile.
