A Montana native, I have lived in the Bozeman area since 2000. I am married with two children, but currently have an empty nest as the kids are grown and starting families of their own. Educated in the State of Montana, I hold a B.S. degree in Business Administration with Emphasis in Finance and Accounting. Having passed the CPA exam in 1991, I worked in public accounting for a couple of years, but spent most of my time working in accounting manangement for private industry.
In 2001, I established my own mortgage company, Montana Capital, in Belgrade, Montana. I owned and operated that business until 2009 at which time I went to work for Mann Mortgage in the Bozeman office. As of July 2015, I have joined the team of mortgage loan originators at Rocky Mountain Bank.
My spare time is spent in various outdoor activities as I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing and travel. My wife, Celia, accompanies me in most of these activities.

As a former CPA in the State of Montana, I have an abilitiy to analyze a client's financial situation and determine the impacts that various loan products will have on a borrowers unique financial situation. Having 12 years experience in the residential mortgage industry, I am knowledgeable in the various loan programs and tax credits availalbe to borrowers (yes, tax credits do still exist for qualified borrowers). This includes conventional financing, FHA, Veteran's Admin (VA), Rural Development (RD), and Montana Board of Housing (MBOH). I am also familiar with various niche products should the property be of a unique nature.
