| I've had my insurance with Merklinger for several years now. I started with a basic renters policy on an apartment coupled with single vehicle coverage. I now have homeowners coverage as well as two vehicles insured through Merklinger. Last year my home experienced significant electrical damage as a result of a severe storm. Once I submitted my claim, I received my check in the mail just 3 days later! Just this week my agent, Tammy Smith, proactively found a policy amendment that would allow me to increase my coverage on my home and vehicles while also saving me just over $500 annually. Again, this was her working proactively! The level of service I've received from Tammy and Merklinger has been second to none and I would highly recommend them to family or friends. | On August 27th, 2012 I was involved in an auto accident while returning home from work. The at-fault driver's insurance company informed us the day after the accident that we needed to provide them with their insured's name, address, policy number, copy of accident report, etc.. Sensing this was not a good start at handling my claim, I immediately called my Grange agents Chris and Bill Merklinger. In a very reassuring manner, they told me not to worry about a thing. From that moment on, Chris, Bill, and the adjusters assigned to my claim have worked quickly and efficiently to resolve my vehicle repairs and some medical issues. Being someone who tries to stay ahead of things to prevent problems and delays, I am more than satisfied with the handling of my claim by all of the people who were involved at Grange. Thank you all for your attention to every detail, giving us real peace of mind. |
