I've been in New England for the past 25 years, plus an earlier stint at Boston College in the 70's. After raising two sons (Ian, 26 and a real estate broker in RI, and Emmett, 22, a student at Rhode Island School of Design) I moved to Cambridge in March of 2008 and assumed the role of CEO of Keller Williams Cambridge. After successfully growing the office by 25 additional agents in 2009, I decided to turn my efforts into sales exclusively and gave up my leadership role here in our office. After providing business coaching to our wonderful team of real estate professionals, I decided I was caught by the same bug of implementing the Keller Williams systems and models for my own real estate practice.
It is these systems, models and my own brand of marketing that sets me apart from others in serving my clients.
I have served on two committees for the Greater Boston Association of Realtors, Membership (Chair in 2009), and The Realtor Forms Evaluation Committee (Chair in 2010), which will soon evaluate and revamp all of the forms used locally in real estate transactions.
Here in Cambridge I serve as Treasurer of the Cambridge Community of Real estate Professionals Foundation, an educational and philantropic organization which has made substantial financial contributions to charities in our area. Our major charitable focus is on children and families, most notably "The Our Place Homeless Children's Daycare Center", under the umbrella of the Cambridge Salvation Army.
I have chosen to specialize in Boston, Cambridge and nearby neighborhoods. My primary focus is residential and investment real estate in these areas.
