Thank you for visiting my page. This is really not about me and it’s all about you. It’s how I can help you make the best decision of your life and become an owner in Lake Chelan just like hundreds of other clients I have worked with. I have never worked with someone to acquire property in the Chelan Valley and have them tell me years later that this was a mistake. You will love living here or spending more time here with your family and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Here is my story:
We sold our waterfront home on Lake Sammamish in 1996 and moved to Lake Chelan. I commuted to Bellevue for 7 years for work and in 2003 I became a full time Realtor at Coldwell Banker LCP and gave up traveling each week. My wife, Robyn has two retail stores called Willow and Patina.
Education: I graduated from California State University at Northridge in Southern California. My degree was a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in Advertising and a minor in Sales and Marketing.
Work History: Never had a guaranteed paying job. I started my own advertising business called AdCenter, Inc. based in Bellevue, Wa. in 1978 and worked there until 2003. We did graphics, printing, photography, screen printing, embroidery and promotional products. After 28 years of this I wanted another challenge. From 2003 to 2014 I have been a full time Real Estate Broker in Lake Chelan.
Family: Married to Robyn Skaar for 33 years. We have three sons and two black Labradors that keep us active.
Hobbies: Anything to do with Lake Chelan. Waterskiing, boating, fishing, hunting , snow shoeing, camping and just being out of doors.

Lake Chelan is really a small market and you have to be flexible with your listings. I carry about 40 listings at a time. Community waterfront lots. community waterfront homes, waterfront homes, acreage, condos, small houses in town etc. It is hard to pick one category to specialize in as the inventory compared to Seattle is very small. I am a Previews Property Specialist for Coldwell Banker Lake Chelan Properties which means I have sold enough homes over $800K in one year to receive this certification. I am also in the President's Circle which means I am a Top 2% Producer for Coldwell Banker. I work really hard and am consistently in the top 5 agents for our mls.
