Kerissa Payne is real estate enthusiast and entrepreneur at heart. Kerissa enjoys the art of connecting people. Successful real estate investing naturally led to becoming a licensed REALTOR in her 20's and a broker by 31 all the while, building and running The Kerissa Payne Team. Mrs. Payne later became a (national real estate chain) franchise owner in 2012 and built her team to be one of the top teams in East Texas. Most recently Mrs. Payne joined eXp Realty, a cloud-based, agent-owned, brokerage in which she is a share holder. She is excited to be at the forefront of real estate tech pioneering.
Mrs. Payne is a serial entrepreneur and has been involved in a few start-ups from real estate tech to the oil & gas industry. KP has invested and flipped homes personally for the last 18 years while selling hundreds of homes with The Kerissa Payne Team. KP was born and raised in East Texas and chose to raise her family here for the last 20 years. She has an excellent working knowledge of East Texas and has enjoyed working with a menagerie of clients from people needing to sell their family homes to multi-million dollar developments.
KP is a multi-million dollar producer and consistently hits her goals year over year. She attained the an Executive Club Award in 2013, (the national real estate chain) 100% Club Award in 2014 and the Platinum Club Award in 2015. Under Mrs. Payne's leadership, The Kerissa Payne Team was recognized as one of the top 500 Teams in the State of Texas, the top 250 teams in the state, and as one of the Top 20 Teams in the Vanguard Council. The Kerissa Payne Team was also recognized as one of America's Best Agents by REAL Trends in 2015 & 2016. Mrs. Payne attained the Prestigious Hall of Fame Award in 2016 in which fewer than 23% of (national real estate chain) Agents ever earn.
