Get to Know James Worthen
Jim Worthen entered the real estate field in 1991 just as the market entered the last long, difficult downturn. From 1991 through 1996, Jim learned how to help sellers realize top dollar and help buyers maximize their purchasing power in a very challenging marketplace
Jim joined Prudential California Realty in 1997 and each year, from 1998 through 2002, Jim received The Diamond Club Award (from Prudential California Realty) and the coveted Chairman's Circle Designation (from The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates of The United States and Canada). In the spring of 2003, James Worthen was awarded the Prudential Legend Award for a history of exceptional sales production and client service. In addition to maintaining his real estate practice, Jim teaches and leads workshops on real estate practice for both agents and the public. Topics include property marketing, personal marketing, contracts, negotiations and ethics. Jim has also written a regular real estate column for local publication and continues to write a private real estate newsletter for his clients and real estate professionals.Prior to real estate, Jim spent fifteen years in the California wine industry as a wine broker and later as the marketing director of a family owned Napa Valley winery.Experience:
