Jonathan Lahey has been actively involved in residential real estate since 2004, first as an investor, and now as the leader of The Lahey Group in Remax Town Center at Park Potomac.  Jonathan was born in Indonesia, and grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland.  Shortly after graduating from UMBC with a degree in Information Systems Management and Economics, Jonathan began a dual career in both IT Consulting and in Real Estate, specializing in Luxury Condominiums, Townhomes, and Single Family Homes.  After successfully juggling both careers for a number of years, Jonathan made the decision to leave IT to focus on his Real Estate career in 2008.

Jonathan quickly excelled in the real estate industry, consistently finishing in the top 5% in the nation as a Realtor. Jonathan firmly believes that the most profound assets he possesses are the respect and trust of his clients, therefore, he makes a constant effort to improve the level of service he provides to his clients.  Today Jonathan enjoys assisting home buyers and home owners in the DC Metro area, helping them buy and sell homes, locating potential investment properties, giving advise to first time home buyers, move-up buyers, and empty nesters.  As Jonathan says all the time, “… anyone can sell your a house, but I’ll find you a home.”
