Get to Know John Jacobus

After graduating from Cincinnati Bible College in 1973 John decided to enter into the real estate business. In 1978 John received his Broker's license which he is using today as the Broker of RE/MAX Impact and his Auctioneer's license in 2000.

In September 2006 John, along with 2 other partners, opened RE/MAX Impact. They researched and investigated the opportunity for eight months, visiting almost a dozen highly successful RE/MAX offices across the country. They saw an opportunity to open a RE/MAX office in the Polaris area and have had great success.

John's wife Cheri, is the manager at Re/MAX Impact. She brings exceptional organization and management skills to the team. John & Cheri have 5 children.

John's hobbies are cars and fishing. He has owned dozens of muscle cars over the years, but now has just one-a 1969 Camaro that he has rebuilt from the frame up. John loves cars and all forms of racing but his passion is fishing. He has towed his boat from Vermont to South Carolina and from Canada to Alabama, fishing most states in between.

Professionally, John is focusing on the new agency, maintaining a high level of commitment to his clients and looks forward to involvement with his personal hobbies. He is active in his church, Westerville Christian, where he teaches and helps his wife with children's ministries. They live on 5 acres north of New Albany, where John works toward a perfect lawn and garden.
