As a direct lender, I fund 80% of my loans in-house. I do have the capability to broker loans out though for those borrowers that are outside of the normal perameters. I have been in the business since 1985, first as a Realtor, then as a wholesale rep for a nationwide lender, and now as a retail loan officer. This experience gives me a unique knowledge of how to create a smooth, trouble-free escrow. It's not all about the loan, but you can rest assured that the loan has been taken care of. Having been a wholesale rep at a large, nationwide lender, I presided over 50+ loans a month - many of which were first time home buyer loans. I also had many loans that were over $1M. To me, it doesn't matter what the loan size is. Every closed loan is a victory.
