My goals are simple, to help people get the best price for their home, in the least amount of time with the highest level of service. To do this I actively work each day to connect buyers and sellers.
The key to my success is that I know my local market and current housing trends so I can keep my customers informed; I provide the most up to date tools and technology for my clients, and most of all I never forget that my customers deserve the best... so I deliver!

To be honest, it all begins when your wife falls in love with Sarasota.
I had a friend that was investing in Florida real estate back in 2005 and he kept telling me that I had to come out to the Tampa Bay area. I had no interest, you see, as a SoCal native I just couldn't imagine there was any place that had better beaches than my home (I found out there are). There was no need to look further than Malibu for a great day on the water.
Eventually however, with the lure of a great home flip business in mind, my buddy convinced me to take a flight out to the other West Coast, to the Suncoast on the Gulf of Mexico. To tell you the truth, at first I thought Tampa and St. Petersberg were just slightly different versions of a big city like L.A.. It wasn't until we made the 45 minute drive south to Sarasota and Siesta Key Beach that I became enchanted. I was nibbling at the bait my friend had put out, but I just wasn't ready to bite. So I returned home with Sarasota in the back of my mind.
Then after letting it go as a pipe dream, Sarasota started to drift back. You see, my wife had become intrigued by my journey and we finally planned a long weekend trip to show her what it was all about. Needless to say, she was hooked...this was paradise in her eyes and after a couple house hunting trips and about a year later we eventually took the plunge.
So we relocated to Sarasota from Los Angeles late in 2006. Together with my wife and Real Estate business partner, Anja Buetergerds and I found myself on the road heading to our new home in Sarasota, FL. Together we work as the Sarasota Suncoast Team and now we're lucky enough to be able to help others find their home here in paradise.
So who am I Professionally? My education and background is based in project management and building construction with over 25 years in the business. I began buying and selling homes for profit in 2005 and in time I found my professional passion in real estate. In 2009 I made the natural progression towards becoming a full time Realtor. I love the real estate business because I can apply my management skills and I have the opportunity to help people get where they want to be. I love helping people...I love what I do!
My wife began her career in real estate back in West Los Angeles for a private commercial asset management firm and she was licensed in Florida in 2007. We specialize in residential real estate in the Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice areas on the Suncoast of Florida. We live near the downtown area of Sarasota and our office is in Lakewood Ranch. So, as it is with most people, we tend to focus our business on where we live, work and play: Downtown and the greater City of Sarasota areas; West of the Tamiami Trail neighborhoods; Sarasota's Islands and Keys (Siesta Key, Lido Key, Bird Key and Longboat Key); Lakewood Ranch and University Park.
So how does a guy from L.A. become a Sarasota real estate expert...I found it just comes naturally when you focus on what you love.
Internet marketing, Video marketing, Person to person networking & marketing, Contract management.
Working with the Sarasota Suncoast Team I have the privilege of helping people with residential real estate in Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice Fl. I can't think of a better place to live, work or play!
