Joey Fontenot was born and raised in Louisiana. After four years with the 3rd Security Police Squadron, stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, he decided to attend the University of Alaska, Anchorage, where he graduated from in 1998. Joey began his career in the Finance Industry in 1998 while living in Anchorage. He quickly received his first managerial promotion after becoming Employee of the month. Joey is currently active with his Loan officer originators license and embraces the highest levels of integrity. In addition to his loan originators license, which requires 20 hours of continuing education each year to stay in tune with the changes in federal and state law, taxation and financial planning, he has also obtained his Teaching Certificate in order to better understand his clients and Realtors overall financial needs.
