I began my real estate adventure while attending the University of Toledo when one of my professors suggested that I take the real estate classes as electives. The next thing I knew, I was licensed and began my career at the age of 19. A few years later I obtained my broker's license and ultimately became a managing broker with a large independant agency. In late 2001 my now business partner, Kathy Kuyoth left the large agency that we were working for and started RE/MAX Preferred Associates. Today with around 90 of this market's top agents we have grown to be the largest RE/MAX agency in this region and one of the market's top market share companies. Our pimary focus is residential brokerage. This of course takes on a variety of business opportunites with the ever changing market. Traditionally we have made new construction home sales and corporate relocations a major focus, however as our market has changed, and so has our mix of business. Today approximately 40% of our business is bank owned marketing and short sale listings. Our AUCTION DIVISION is operated very successfully by Michelle Amlin who continues to grow that portion of our business through her creativity and inventiveness.
