You deserve the most thorough and detailed, yet understandable reports available.  Jubert Home Inspection LLC reports provide you with details that go far beyond the typical report provided by most inspectors. These reports give you valuable information about your home that you can use to make informed decisions about your purchase, which can also be used to potentially negotiate repairs and or pricing, or can simply be use as a maintenance to-do list.

I inspect your home as though I am inspecting it for my family.  I will take additional time to further investigate an issue when needed in order to provide you with additional details to help determine the extent of the issue as best possible, which you can then give to your Electrician, Plumber, or other service contractor. I also will give you as accurate information as possible about an issue or appliance, with RecallChek, 90 Day Warranty, and 200% Guarantee which is something many inspectors will not do.

As a home buyer, you can save thousands of dollars through information revealed in a home inspection.  According to the Federal Trade Commission, nearly half of US homeowners who purchase previously owned homes make unexpected repairs in the first six months of ownership. Jerry’s trusted eye can reveal safety concerns and repairs that need attention in your prospective home. These issues can then be brought into your negotiation process and handled before closing.

You are invited to accompany Jerry during the home inspection. You will walk-thru needed repairs and safety concerns revealed in the inspection, learn about the unique mechanical features of the home, get maintenance tips related to your prospective home, and have an opportunity for general question and answer dialogue. A typical home inspection takes 2-3 hours.

Choosing a home inspector can be a difficult. You probably don’t need one very often but when you do, an inspector plays an important roll in a big decision:  An investment in your home.  Your Realtor can be a great resource for finding a home inspector, but be sure to ask for a few names, so you can do your own research and choose based on your individual needs and expectations.  The state of Minnesota currently does not have a licensing standard for home inspectors, so its important to be an inform consumer.  We believe that choosing an inspector is not a decision to be taken lightly.  Here is a list of things you should expect from a quality home inspector.

A good inspector should encourage you to attend the inspection so that you can ask questions and educate yourself about how the systems in your house work Good communication is as important as strong technical knowledge.  You’ll be receiving a lot of information, some of which may be technical or unfamiliar to you.  A good inspector should be able to make things clear and understandable. Offer on going support for your questions or concerns after the inspection is complete No one is perfect – your inspector should have Errors and Omissions Insurance Membership in an accredited professional organization such as NAHI or ASHI Your inspector should be prompt, courteous and professional An inspector should be able to provide references A standardized reporting system Experience and training.  The number of homes inspected as well as years of experience as an inspector, direct hands on experience in the building trades and quality of training are all important factors in choosing an inspector. A contract that clearly explains the rights and responsibilities of both the inspector and the client.
