Jeff is actually the listing agent on a home we are purchasing, it will be closing in two weeks. He has worked seamlessly with our buying agent (from out of town) in negotiating not only the sale but renting the home for a month before closing. We needed to move down slowly due to my husband’s health concerns. He had offered to assist us in any way to make the transition easier. What he didn’t bargain for was my carelessness last weekend when I inadvertently locked us out of the home. Normally this is not an insurmountable problem except my husband’s necessary medical equipment was locked inside the house. We called the police to see if they could help, They responded but couldn’t find a way in. We called the five nearest locksmiths with no response. Finally out of desperation we called Jeff to see if perhaps he knew of a hidden key or any other means of entry. Within 10 minutes he had dropped his Friday night plans and arrived to our assistance. After trying a couple of remedies to no avail we determined drilling a lock was the least destructive method. He used his tools and destroyed several of his bits in the process. Afterwards he graciously refused any compensation saying he truly meant it when he said if we needed any help to call him. He was truly a life saver that night and we cannot thank him enough. In addition he has given us several helpful tips on making our move smoother. Knowing he has gone to this amount of trouble for buyers who were not even his clients I feel confident in highly recommending him as the agent of choice for any buyer or seller in this area. He is a great agent to work with.
