I'm originally from Los Angeles and have lived in Austin since 1988.  I live in East Austin and love it.  It's amazing to be able to live so close to downtown, so affordably, in a great neighborhood with mature trees, quiet streets, and wonderful neighbors.

Austin is a great place to work as a real estate agent because it has so many beautiful neighborhoods, each with its own distinctive retail and recreation areas.  The kind of people you find in Austin are quite unique, as well.  I notice in my every day activities that I have pleasant conversations all day long in almost everything I do, from shopping at the grocery store to banking to walking my dog in the park.  This general atmosphere of happiness and kindness really adds to quality of life in a huge way and it's not something you find in many places.  I am always excited about welcoming new people to Austin.

Outside of real estate, my interests include music, film, literature, art, interior design & architecture (especially mid-century modern), travel, gardening and yoga. 

I have a Ph.D in comparative literature and speak fluent German. I also have considerable competence in French and Spanish. I taught foreign languages for years and enjoy working with international clients.
