This is accomplished as the application immediately goes to an Underwriter upon submission, before going to a Processor. The Underwriter receives a bonus for issuing a decision within 6 hours. The Processor receives a bonus if the “Clear to Close” is issued within 5 days and is penalized if it takes longer than 7 days.

Taking files though the detailed mortgage flow in such a compacted time frame, requires amazing responsiveness. 1,500 employees all reply to emails within 5 – 10 minutes. Other companies may believe it is acceptable business etiquette to reply the following day. We can’t, as a “1 Day Commitment” means “1 Day”.
