Dennis "Dutch" Heetbrink was born and grew up in The Netherlands (aka Holland). He moved to America in 1982. People from Holland are called "Dutch", and many people started calling him that.

In his spare time (ha!) Dutch is an actor and a boater on the waters of Puget Sound. He and his family actively volunteer at "The Driftwood Players", an Edmonds-based community theater company. The Dutch hail from the country of The Netherlands (aka "Holland"). Dutch also refers to the language we speak. Holland is probably best known for its wooden shoes, canals, tulips, cheese (Gouda and Edam), and last but not least windmills. Throughout history, Dutch people have been seafaring, enterprising and entrepreneurial. As early as the mid-1600's, the Dutch had become known as successful explorers, effective traders and fair merchants.
