His business life is not the only area that Hamed practices diversity in. Hamed regularly exercises his fluency in Urdu, Dari and Farsi as an interpreter for the Foreign Service Institute (FSI). He says as an interpreter, it is an interesting way to connect with different people as well as be a connector for two people who are blocked by a language barrier.

One favorite pastime of Hamed's is photography. Aside from snapping pictures of various homes in Northern Virginia, Hamed aims to sharpen his camera skills by breaking into the world of videoblogging. He hopes to provide a different channel of media broadcasting for others to learn more about real estate from.
