I know Racine because I've lived here for over 35 years.  Met my wife and raised three children in Racine so we have invested in Racine and found it to be a great community.  There are two things ALWAYS true in real estate - 1)  Your home is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.  2)  If you are selling you need to maximize that value and the buyers perception to get the best possible selling price.  Market conditions have absolutely nothing to do with those two facts.
