I have an extensive background in sales and marketing combined with years of experience in home design. I own a home furnishings store, Decor & Co. Warehouse located off 69 hwy & 151st street. I've owned the store for nine years and until recently operated a location in Lee's Summit,Mo as well. My goal since High School had been to one day own my own retail store. I was fortunate during high school and college to work in management positions in my retail jobs. Even, as a sophomore in high school working part - time I managed to sell a million dollars worth of ladies clothing in one calendar year! This gained a lot of recognition in the company, I became one of the youngest managers in the entire company. I was soon recruited by a locally owned mom and pop store. It was almost like owning my own store as I did everything. I ordered the inventory, mangaged the staff and sold lots of merchandise.

After college, I worked for seven years for a Department Store here in Kansas City gaining experience in buying,selling and managing. Unfortunately, while I loved retail it didn't offer the salary and bonus structure I desired. I sit my sights on a sales and marketing position with Home Box Office. It was the a dream job and matched my personality and skills perfectly as well as offering more money! The added bonus I worked from their Chicago office, traveled tons to wonderful places,made wonderful long lasting relationships. I further developed my marketing and sales savvy. Yet, all the while the burn to be my own boss, explore new adventures lingered. So, finally I rolled the dice, gambled my nest egg and opened the store. Love it, owning the store has lead to wonderful relationships with the areas top builders as they buy furniture to furnish their models, as well as meeting the nicest people who by their kind praises keep my business growing in lots of directions. I've been designing, remodeling and staging homes for years. I had always wanted to obtain my real estate license and finally in 2009,I did it. 

I'm having so much fun. Marketing and selling real estate is the perfect challenge for me. I love helping my clients get their houses positioned to sell. It's not a secret houses have to attract buyers. I enjoy looking at the competition, then figuring out what I can do to play up my listing's best features. I'm excellent at pricing a house so that my clients make the most they can in the shortest time on the market. I'm also a master negotiator.

Yes, I'm diverse. Yes,I stay very busy. I'm careful at balancing it all. My name is my business. I pull all the stops out for my clients. I'm blessed, I truly love what I do. I don't have a job, I get to do what drives and inspires me.
