I'm a mom with two adult children who have always been the lights of my life. My son made me a grandmother with the birth of Maggie Grace (who's perfect, of course!) on March 15, 2006 and again with Meredith Elaine on May 3, 2009.
I've been a member of the real estate profession since 1980 with sales licenses in Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky. I've held a broker's license in both Georgia and Kentucky, earned GRI and CRS designations and finally graduated with a BBA degree in real estate from Morehead State University in May 2003.
I was able to open my own brokerage, EastKy HomeFinders, Inc., in January 2005 and am thrilled to say that in 2008, I was awarded the Best Real Estate Agent award and my company the Best Real Estate Company award - both given through our local community newspaper. AND we increased our 2008 sales production 42.2% over the previous year!!
I spearheaded the local drive to establish a REALTOR association which was chartered by NAR in November 2007 and our MLS was in place, online. and operational in late February 2008. I am now serving my second term as President of the Cave Run Association of Realtors and looking forward to its steady, future growth and development.
I LOVE REAL ESTATE!! It doesn't matter if it's new construction, residential re-sales, vacant land, commercial, or industrial.
I love working with first time buyers and sellers! I enjoy helping them learn the whole process and to giving them a positive experience they can use in future transactions.
While teaching "new-bies" the ropes is satisfying, I love the challenges presented by working with the more sophisticated folks including seasoned investors. I believe it's my responsibility as a real estate professional to educate myself as much as possible so that I may better serve the needs of those who place their trust in me.
Over the years, my customers and clients have given me a WONDERFUL education in a rich variety of subjects from A to Z! It's fun to take that, plus all the information I've learned in the classroom, and put it together for the benefit of whomever I'm representing.
I think one of my greatest assets is the ability to work equally well with everyone regardless of finances, knowledge, or experience. I firmly believe in honesty, fair treatment and dignity for ALL.
