I have been buying and selling real estate since 1994, which is when my husband and I purchased our first home.  When I look back to that time, as a first time home buyer, I realize how naive we were.  Needless to say, I have come a long way from purchasing my first home.  We began purchasing investment properties in 1998, and haven't looked back since.  I received my real estate license in 2005 and became a real estate broker in 2007.  Real estate is definitely a solid financial investment, even during these volatile times.  Interest rates, still at historic lows, and unbelievable prices on homes of (unfortunately) distressed homeowners, have all led to a buyers market rivaling the best blue light special at Kmart!!  I wish that we had enough time and money to purchase all of the deals that I come across.......that being said, I can help buyers in the market for a deal on a fixer-upper investment property or a completely renovated home.  There are currently about 11 months worth of inventory in Union County, so there is plenty to choose from if you are shopping for a home.  Home ownership is becoming more affordable which is the cornerstone of the American Dream.
