ETTa designs is a multidisciplinary boutique design firm with a focus on interior architecture and design for residential & commercial applications including stunning eco-friendly solutions.  Rachel Winokur is the Founder and Lead Designer of ETTa designs which handles the entire design process including concept, budget, space planning, selecting and purchasing finishes, furnishings & equipment, and installation. 

ETTa designs is based on Ms. Winokur’s 15 years of textile design, fashion merchandising, event planning & design, and commercial, residential & green design.  In addition, following her B.S. in Consumer Studies from the University of New Hampshire, she spent 4 years studying in the Boston Architectural Center’s Master of Interior Design and UCLA’s Certificate of Interior Design programs.  

Rachel’s professional design career began at the prestigious and award-winning Boston architecture firm Ann Beha Architects specializing in libraries, museums and preservation.  She then moved to Los Angeles to work with residential and commercial architecture and design firms including the highly regarded and widely published design firm Michael S. Smith, Inc.  There, Rachel was the Director of the Commercial Department managing over $450 million in projects in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and NYC.

ETTa designs projects include an eco-friendly South Bay nail salon and an LA residential renovation.  Past hospitality and residential projects by Ms. Winokur include a Los Angeles LEED designated mixed-use condo project, a New York City House Beautiful showcase boutique hotel penthouse, a luxury Santa Monica hotel, a 4-star 97-room in Santa Barbara, a 7-story town home in New York City, an estate development in Shanghai, and homes throughout Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
