Owner Broker As owner/manager of Windermere/Idaho First Realty, Inc., I’ve had the opportunity to forge partnerships with real estate development and marketing firms in a multi-state area. Whether you wish to buy or sell property, let me put my 15+ year real estate career and lifetime residence in Sandpoint to work for you. I am licensed in Idaho and Montana. Education & Experience Graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1964. After receiving a Bachelor of Architectual Degree in 1969 from the University of Idaho, I worked as an Architect in Seattle, WA from 1969-1972. I then worked for a private company from 1972-1978, and went into private practice from 1977-1987. My real estate career began in 1986. I have been a licensed Broker/Consultant from 1988 to present in Idaho and a licensed Broker in Montana since 1999.

In the late eighties, Ed Ostrom, founder of Idaho First Real Estate started in real estate. Currently he is a broker/agent who has been helping Sandpoint area residents buy and sell property for 25 years.

Many changes have developed in Sandpoint over time. Sandpoint has the hometown feeling while having the bigger city convenience. With that in mind Ed has been able to hold on to the original spirit that aims first and foremost to help people accomplish their hopes, dreams, and needs in Northern Idaho real estate.
