When Keeping the House Equals Losing the Divorce
In order to expand my services, I have earned the RCS-DTM designation as Real Estate Collaborative Specialist - DivorceTM. As an RCS-DTMdesignated REALTOR®, I am professionally trained to neutralize the problems in divorce real estate, making it far easier for couples who are breaking up to equitably divide their property.
The family home is usually the most valuable asset in a divorce. However, when dividing marital property, simply obtaining a property appraisal does NOT reveal the true value of the house. I work with the couples and their legal representatives to determine accurate evidence of house value. Toward this end, we have developed a team of real estate industry professionals to assist with the true valuation of the property.
