I have worked on many real estate transactions in the Marin market – and while you want to know how many homes are at your price point – and I could send you an email of available properties listed on MLS at that price, that may not be the price the seller is really looking to sell at. The listing history may show price jumps and reductions over time. The inspections can reveal hidden costs. And changes in the neighborhood details such as that neighborhood no longer has access to the community pool via the HOA, can become a factor. These and many more details can change your home buying choice in an instant.
