Daphne L. Roberson
Daphne has been in the insurance industry since 1981 and was employed  by The Thompson Agency, Inc located in Farmington, CT from the time she was 16 until 2008.   She is trained in all facets of insurance by who she considers to be the "very best" in the industry.

Daphne entered the insurance industry as a trainee in health claims and was promoted to manager .  From there she was formally trained by American Republic Insurance Company and was promoted to health insurance underwriter.  With great success  she was quickly promoted to head of the health sales department.  She obtained her license to sell life, accident and health insurance and continued  in this position until 2006.  Life insurance was a large part of the agency.  Daphne's expertise in underwriting was needed in the substandard risk life insurance department    At that point she was sent for formal life underwriting training.   She then became part of the substandard risk life underwriting team.  In 2006 she obtained her property and casualty license  and has been very successful  in personal lines for the past two years. 
 
Daphne found that her joy was in dealing with the client and meeting new people.  The feeling that she was able to develop relationships while providing outstanding sales and service was what she loved.  She saw herself serving the public.  The decision to open her own agency was made.    This was quite a large step for her, but one that has been a long time coming.  She looks forward to serving you and developing your working relationship for many years to come.
 
Daphne's  family lives in New Hartford, Connecticut.  She has a wonderful husband Karl and three  beautiful children, Shea 19, Madison 14, and Alee 10. Her husband owns Prestige Body Werks,  a very successful autobody shop in Canton, Connecticut with state-of-the-art equipment.  Her son attends Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA.  He is studying to be a pharmacist and plays baseball for the Shenandoah Hornets as a second baseman.  Her daughters ride and show their two horses, Blue Diamond Dell and Miss Riley's Conclusion presently with the New England Pinto Horse Association successfully.
