About Dan and his team

Dan Mullarkey has spent all his life in the great state of Arizona…

Growing up in the Valley has given Dan the unique perspective of how the Phoenix area has grown,changed and adapted over the years, which has been beneficial to many of his clients when searching for an area that meets their particular needs.  Dan currently resides in North Phoenix with his fiancée Heather and their 5 year old son Aidan. During his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, hiking Phoenix area trails, and enjoying new Valley restaurants.

Dan attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff where he earned a Communications degree in Advertising. Dan still uses his knowledge of advertising and marketing today to help his clients stay ahead of the competition. After NAU, Dan returned to the Valley to start his career in real estate which had always been in his blood. His great grandparents purchased, renovated and sold hotels in California before moving the Mullarkey family to Arizona in the 1950s.

Dan’s real estate career began just before the “Housing Boom” that the Phoenix area experienced in 2005, which led to a tumultuous time in Valley real estate. When the market “crashed” in 2008, Dan shifted gears and began listing foreclosure and short sale properties. Dan’s listing clients included including Fannie Mae, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, HSBC and others. The REO (Real Estate Owned) business carried him through some of the most difficult times that we’ve seen in Arizona real estate and taught him many valuable lessons.

Dan is currently an Associate Broker of West USA Realty in Scottsdale Arizona and holds many real estate designations. West USA Realty is a locally owned, top producing Valley real estate firm that was established in 1986. West USA’s five convenient branch offices have helped thousands of Arizona residents achieve “The American Dream”. National Relocation & Real Estate Magazine ranks West USA Realty 13th in the Nation for overall transactions per company and number 1 in transactions per office!
