Chris von Trapp is a proud member the internationally recognized family depicted in The Sound of Music, which chronicles their life in Austria and their escape from the Nazis during WWII. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Vermont in 1977, Chris started Mount Philo Meadows, a residential landscape contracting firm and wholesale shade tree nursery in Hinesburg, VT. In 1993, Chris sold his landscaping business and embarked on a second career in Residential Real Estate Sales. The merge of these two life experiences allows Chris to bring invaluable insight into the process of real estate sales and marketing.

Chris resides in the Vergennes area with his wife Kelly, where he enjoys the ongoing restoration of their 1850's farmhouse and grounds. His passions include sailing, skiing, hiking and spending time with his family and friends.
