I began my writing career in college in the 1980s when I won the Bowman Writing Award for three consecutive years and wrote as a stringer for the Wilmington News-Journal. After that, I began a twenty year business career writing press releases, internal communication, newsletters, copy, and PSAs for private industry and not-for-profit agencies. In 2008, I started CRT Writing which has evolved into CRT Commercial Media as the business expanded into new directions. In addition to B2B and internal communications, I specialize in technical writing and have extensive experience in numerous formats. My experience with large and small companies, as well as not-for-profit agencies, gives me a comprehensive understanding of the needs of varied businesses. Along with my 19 years of teaching at the college level, I can give you the expertise of the mechanics of writing combined with practical business sense and creative thinking.
Using a professional writer for your company's communication can give your organization a polished edge while saving money at the same time. You only hire professional sale's people or computer technicians, so it makes sense to hire a professional for your writing needs. Because you only pay for what you need, you can save money and resources while presenting your best side. If your organization is small, this is an economical way to compete with larger companies. The possibilities to improve your professional image are limitless. Whether you need in-house publications like employee newsletters and yearly meeting brochures or advertising, press releases, or radio spots, I have both the experience and skills to bring you the best possible communication for your budget.
CRT Commercial Media offers a variety of professional writing services for private industry, not-for-profit agencies and government entities.
