The Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors awarded Saralou the designation of Realtor of the Year 2004 because of consistent residential sales production (21 years in the Circle of Excellence), outstanding volunteer endeavors both for the real estate industry and in the community and for commitment to service and education. Saralou also received the coveted Community Service Award in 1992. In 2005, RE/MAX inducted her into the International Hall of Fame.
Saralou has also led the Cincinnati Ambassadors for five years. The organization is selected by the Mayor of Cincinnati and organizes educational activities to acquaint Realtors with various neighborhoods and new housing projects within the city. She has also chaired the Board's Communications and Business Technology Committees.
Saralou was President of the Junior League of Cincinnati. She was also President of the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Playhouse in the Park and has been on numerous other Boards in the past.
Married with three children, Saralou loves to travel, read and garden. She lives in an historic home built in 1836.
