Many of us have probably had a few different careers in our lives and I finally found the right one.  I hold a BS in Chemistry and have worked for the EPA, FDA and NASA. As I found, this is not the environment for my outgoing personality and I decided to become a teacher in which I graduated from the University of North Florida and taught High School in Jacksonville, FL for 3 years. A few years ago, I had a revelation...I wanted to go back fome to Smith Mountain Lake, VA and become a REALTOR and, so I did and here I am today.It is so wonderful to know the inventory and area from a growing up perspective.  This is what has really made a difference for me since I came in full time when the market was collapsing.  I have weathered.  I specifically specailize in waterfront homes, waterfront land, rural residential and farms. Take what you know and use it to your advantage...I grew up on a farm and they can be hard to price.
