I've been in sales and marketing for 35 years. Owned several independent film distribution companies in the United Kingdom. We handled the film rights to non-threatrical releases on tape and DVD.  Originally a New Yorker (born and raised in Queens), my real life began when I started to trek across Europe in 1970 settling eventually in London. I Learned the trade working for CBS (now Sony Music) and a few other entertainment companies. It was great fun - music and film festivals - meeting celebrities including being presented to the Queen of England during a charity premier and presenting a gold record to the pop group Abba.
