| As a nervous first-time home buyer, I was so appreciative of Bruce's expertise. He helped me through every step of the process, gave honest advice, and took my parents and me to dozens of homes on the weekends, the only time we could see them. | I met Bruce when I went to look at a house I was interested in that I saw online. I was just looking but not seriously because I was scared to buy. Bruce offered his assistance and the next thing I know he has several house for me to look at in a short time. At first I told him I wanted a kitchen with white cabinets but with each house we both learned what else I not only wanted, but what I needed and what I could do without. In a short time he had me believing that buying a house wasn’t scary and the right thing for me to do. Anytime I saw a house online or one he sent me information on that I wanted to see he got me a showing quickly and worked around my schedule. When I walked into the house I now own I knew it was the one and Bruce knew I had to have this house. Not based on my reaction, but based on the list of features I said I was looking for and how much work I could do once I moved in to the home I was going to buy. He gave me advice during negotiations that everyone told me to ignore. I took his advice and it worked out better than what everyone expected. I have been told many times that buying a house shouldn’t have been as easy as it was for me and that I was very lucky. I believe it was because Bruce is an excellent realtor and never pushed me to do anything that wasn’t right for me. |
