Get to Know Andrew T. McKinney
Andrew began his career in real estate in 2008 shortly after he retired from the United States Air Force with over twenty years of service. Since that time, he has been working with Team Extreme Realty (formerly Nextage, formerly Sell-EZ-1) on all forms of residential property sales from condos to condotels to single family homes, in locations ranging from downtown Honolulu to Ewa Beach and windward sales. Andrew has also worked extensively with distressed property owners and successfully assisted numerous clients in the sale of their homes during those difficult times. Because of his involvement in this market, Andrew has acquired a large volume of experience working with lenders and mortgage servicers negotiating the best resolution possible for short sales and foreclosures, deed-in-lieu transactions, and properties burdened by tax liens. Through Andrew’s efforts and dedication, most of these clients have been able to sell their properties, moving forward to new challenges and opportunities.
Andrew is an active member of HiREI (Hawaii Real Estate Investors) where he prepares and delivers the HiREI Market Brief for members and guests every month ensuring all are up to date on the latest real estate market trends and analysis, demographics and housing inventory characteristics, and the prevailing local and national economic conditions (unemployment, gold, oil, sock markets, etc.) potentially affecting the decisions of real estate professionals and investors. Through Andrew’s affiliation with HiREI, he is very experienced with investor needs and strategies, understanding and executing option deals, simultaneous closings, and buy-fix-sell transactions. Nothing satisfies Andrew more than seeing a deal through to closure and the smile that erupts on the face of his clients when they have realized their goals!
