A southern California native, I moved to San Diego in 2007 with my husband Jay Tannehill and two children Blake (now 12) and Caden (now 7) for a relocation with my husband who works for the California Highway Patrol. We had a baby girl in January of 2012 and at that time I decided to make the transition from working as a Property Management Professional to Real Estate Sales.
After working in the industry as a Community Manager for just under 20 years, I decided to realize my dream of working with clients and helping them to achieve their long term investment goals and assist in the purchase of buying and selling homes. My dedication to quality customer service comes from years of building relationships with people who are almost always in some sort of transition. Whether it is for a job relocation, relationship status change, expanding family or newly emptied nest, people move for many different reasons and understanding those motivations has helped me to relate to clients during a usually stressful process. Having an agent that understands and listens to your needs is key to a successful transition. Moving is not easy and buying or selling a home can be a bit of a bumpy road. You need an agent that is patient, that you can trust and that will answer your calls, texts and emails quickly.
I am a Top Producing Agent in my office at Keller Williams in Santee, and have helped people buy and sell homes all over the county. Over the last four years, I have successfully closed 75 transactions.

| I have heard some of my family and friends say that Real Estate Agents are a dime a dozen, but this is not the case with Amber Tannehill. Amber is an agent that is hard to find and when you do find one like her, you better not lose her. Amber knew what we wanted, she knew the area very well, she is THE BEST at communicating, and overall she is just fantastic! In addition, Amber is honest and straight forward on if she doesn't think the place fits your needs. She is not pushy at all, but rather patient. Amber was a delight to work with. | Amber's qualities as a real estate agent are as follows. Honest/Straight Forward: She gives her true and honest opinion to that helped us make appropriate decisions. Knowledgable: She has an excellent knowledge of all San Diego County neighborhoods Responsive: she responds to requests within seconds/minutes in most cases. Highly Ethical: She repeatedly advised us to decline offers that were slightly below her opinion of market value, even though it caused her to work hard for an extended period (for no extra commission, obviously) to get us a fair offer. |

| I asked Amber for a quick sell since we were relocating on a tight time schedule, and she delivered. Our condo was in escrow within 30 days and the sale went smoothly. My husband had already moved to our new home, Amber and her team made it very easy for us to sign all the documents while out of town. | I met Amber at an open house. I was actually looking for an agent but did not tell her that ;). I met with several agents that day, but she was the only one that followed up with me the next day. You want someone who wants your business not someone you have to work for and she delivered. She immediately recommended an great mortgage broker to deal with(I also recommend him, Matt Dennison) and it worked out great. She found me a home in my price range and location then negotiated 25K off the selling price. I would highly recommend Amber to anyone I know or anyone the asks. Oh and when she found out I was getting a dog she gave me her personal dog gate she was not using. Use it everyday. Thanks Amber! |

| My wife and I met Amber through my parents and if it wasn't for her we would not be in our home. Amber is someone you can trust completely and who will work extremely hard to get the home you are looking for. When we decided to buy a house I had a couple other agents and I couldn't get them to call me back let alone show me a house that I found. My wife and I always felt like we were Ambers number one clients, she was always available. Amber is very knowledgeable and well connected if I had any questions about anything she had the answer. | My first contact with Amber was in September and from the outset she has distinguished herself in every way. Of the eight realtors I interviewed then, Amber was the only one who listened to exactly what I asked for and set up showings in an unprecedented 24 hours as I was in town for for just a few days. As we continue to work together I am always impressed with her consistency, level of communication, professionalism, and genuine care & concern to guide me in finding the right property fit. And she always has a heart-warming smile and greeting for me.
