I spent about 6-7 hours sifting thru dirt at this state park this summer!  And didn't find so much as a diamond speck!!! http://diamonds.blogs.com/diamonds_update/crater_of_diamonds/ It is pretty interesting, if you don't mind getting a bit of dirt under your nails!
