Just heard over the radio, local station, that the market is starting to pick up in Montgomery County. I think the lower interest rates will make an even better impact. This is good news since it's coming from the local media, should help boost sales.

Thanks for the comments. I have an wild idea...when you buy a home, you can purchase an insurance policy that would cover any short fall if you get into a short sale position. How would it work, not sure, but lenders do it with their PMI.

I think if lenders put into place a systematic process to work with short sales, they could decrease the time processing, save themselves and everyone else money. Short sale tip of the day....through my experience buyers who hang in on a short sale will get a great price, with the home still in good shape if the owners are still living there or maintaining it. Once they become bank owned, they usually are in less then desirable shape.
