I've heard that some home inspectors don't go in attics or crawlspaces and don't walk on roofs.  Now don't get me wrong, there may be a safety issue which prevents this, that's fine, but as my normal routine, I enter attics, crawlspaces and walk on roofs.  Here's an example of why it's important....
