"I recently was asked by my sister Danielle to find her a Realtor due to her relocation to Tacoma Washington for a job. After attempting to look up agents via the web, I quickly realized that this would take forever. I sent out a referral request through the Active Rain Network and with in 5 minutes received my first call. I received over a hundred responses after that and was able to narrow it down based on Agent's responses. I refined my criteria as I went based on how well agents read my request and their response time was a factor as well, anyone responding after the second day wasn't even considered. After all of this, I forwarded all the information to my sister for her to consider. When we spoke and I shared my opinion, we both agreed and I notified the chosen agent. My sister was extremely happy and just had her offer accepted on a beautiful home overlooking the Sound! Along the way, I learned how to respond to a referral based on how I studied the responses I got. I also learned that this network does work and it is a great tool for all of us to have access to."

"Success in the Rain – and what a better opportunity for me to share a story and play on words
I Live-in, Work, Play & Specialize in the Coastal Community of GULF HARBORS on Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. A Family and Boaters Friendly Community that normally see the better part of 300+ days of Sun a year, however last week we had Rain, heavy rain all week. During this wet week a Buyer’s Agent contacted me to show one of my Canal front Homes to a well Qualified and ready Buyer.
Considering another day of foul weather, and my Seller’s carpeting, I took the opportunity to think 'outside the box'. We scheduled for the following day at Noon and I was there waiting … with the Garage Door Open ! Not only was the Seller’s Agent surprised, but what a ‘true’ way to view a Home… just as if they were coming Home from a day in the Rain.
