"I've been a member of ActiveRain since March of 2007 and every year I wonder if My ActiveRain Blog would be read by more consumers and Hawaii Relocation clients. During the first half of 2008 I had two clients who contacted me after reading My ActiveRain Blog inquiring about purchasing their first condo and single family home.

Right off the bat I asked them if they found me through My ActiveRain Blog and they said they read a story about Mililani Condos and Hawaii VA Loans.

These clients contributed to a successful year for me and all because of my ActiveRain Blogging. Since then I have had two others close, one of which were again....a Hawaii Relocation client and the other was a referral from a Broker in Florida who found me the same way (my blog) and referred her Active Duty Air Force daughter to me.

I closed the last one of 2008 on December 30th and this Hawaii Military Relocation client said he'd been reading my blog for 10 months! I put in another contract for a Hawaii Military Relocation client and she said the same thing. She 'found me' from reading my blog and website.

The common demoninator for all these clients are this:

They commended me on my content in my posts.
They loved that I wrote as if I were talking right with them ...not at them.
They ALL said that the information was not just literature. It was felt.
That I wrote with humor, a personal touch, a little transparency and so forth
There were scenic pictures and local area information so they were not only seeing real estate talk but going through an area with me as if on an excursion.
There were video testimonials so they could hear others talking...not just reading words from clients.
And even after the transaction closes there are a few who STILL read my blogs and call me to discuss them!
And when they finally pick up the phone to call me they feel as if they know me already.

My learning lessons have been ten fold since writing on this REAL Estate Network called ActiveRain and I know that I will have continued success for all I have learned here to take into my outside blogs and website as well for the year 2009.

What's more is I've are the MANY friends I've made along this journey.

Write with passion and they will read you. Write with conviction and depth and they will read you. Write with honesty and integrity.............. and just BE REAL.
